Feeling at Home in One’s Skin
 
At its core, this project is about fostering a sense of home and comfort within one’s own skin. By providing young girls and women with a doll that looks like them and shares their cultural background, the Reinvented Black Barbie encourages self-love and acceptance. It’s about celebrating one's identity and feeling proud of one's heritage.
